Single Phase, 240v Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB)
- It is recommended that the power supply to your electric motor is fed directly from a miniature circuit breaker (MCB)
- This helps protect the motor from overload – if excessive load is applied to the electric motor the MCB trips, cutting the power supply to the motor avoiding overload and failure
- The use of MCB’s also enhances user safety
- Three pole MCB’s also available for 3 phase motors – see codes 49-036 / 49-037
